Playing Law of Averages With Casinos

To understand how law of averages impacts gambling and the gambler’s mindset, let us take this example. You have expert knowledge on Omaha, a Poker Game and have been winning heads up for 20 consecutive days. You have raked in about $10,000 from your winning proceeds and that encourages you to bet the entire amount on the 21st play day at the casino. As your confidence is sky high due to your previous successes, you start dealing your cards and within one hour you realize that you have lost the entire amount. If you are wondering what made it happen, possibly the law of averages caught up with you. Playing Law of Averages is an interesting yet semi-mythical concept which attributes to forecasting of results on a certain day.

First, let us understand Law of Averages

To do this, let us assume we throw a six numbered die 100 times. The probability that the number six will land on the throw of the die is about 16% which means out of 100 times, the number six will land 16 times. Analyzing this, the number six will land on the die once every 6 throws of the die. As per law of averages, this fact is merely an extrapolation of what happens in real life. One could have two consecutive throws of six on the die and go the next 10 throws without a six showing up. All this indicates that Law of Averages is good for statistical data but attributing the occurrence of a certain event to antecedent events is a mistake.

Attributing Law of Averages to gambling in casinos

Most of the games played in casinos require a high level of skill and strategy. Those games rule out of our discussion on playing law of averages with casinos. There are certain games like the Blackjack and the Roulette which have a high riding luck factor for players to play the game. Individuals need to know that the probability of the winning number being stuck on the roulette board is fraught with permutations and probability.

For example, the chances for you hitting a winning stroke on a Roulette Board is 1/37 that equates to 0.02. This means that for every Roulette Spin, your chances of winning is about 0.02. In such a scenario, how would you know which number to be bet on in the game of Roulette. You could take historical data to find out which number has possibly been on the winning list most of the occasions. But be rest assured, the next Roulette Spin may not yield the result you were expecting.

Is Playing Law of Averages with Casinos a rubbish concept?

It is not entirely nonsensical to consider playing law of averages with casinos. Law of Averages does provide a good extrapolation to an event based on historical data. Unless the event is structurally influenced your prediction of the outcome to an event will be a probability.

Playing Law of Averages with Casinos mean you have the liberty to say “ Number “x” is the winning number”. What it does not allow is for you to believe “If I bet on Number “x”, I will surely win”.

Mzone Tournament Strategy: is Tight Aggressive Really the Best?

Is playing the rock tight, and aggressive game in tournaments really still the best way to play? I do believe yes, at least for the very early stages. Professional players may have a different opinion about this, but they don’t play the low level buy-ins online which are altogether different games than they are used to.

You see, it’s all about the math of how many tournaments you enter and how often this strategy can pay off. However, when executing a tight strategy more often than not, your worst enemy is yourself. That is because it can be quite difficult to watch other players donk up on hand that you would have won, had you been there at the river.

There may frequently be long streaks between in-the-money finishes based on the very familiar situation such as this: you play it rock tight, have maybe one or two hands where you stay only slightly ahead of the blinds leaving you with a low to medium stack after the first break. This can happen time and again leaving you to really question your overall strategy.

Before you go all radical and start looking for new aggressive solutions consider these points:

1- You are playing book solid tournament poker. Online that remains an advantage in itself, especially in the lower buy-in levels. Specifically, it’s the Dan Harrington style and that is a profitable way to play tournament poker – at least long term. You will start to make the money (at least) between 10%-20% of the time playing like this and inching up your bankroll.

2- As you enter near-the-money stage in tournaments, many short stack players tend to panic and big stack players tend to get over-aggressive without tracking how short and desperate their opponents really are. Therefore it becomes a much looser, crazy game where a hand like top pair, top kicker is good enough to let your tournament ride on. It really doesn’t matter how big or small your stack is in this stage because invariably opportunities are going to land in your seat where it’s not unusual to double, triple up, or even better, in this volatile tournament stage. In a single hand, yes you can be out, but contrarily, in a few hands you could be in the top ten chip stacks based on the ridonkulous moves of your opponents. Ask this of anyone who has made a final table more than a couple times, if this has happened to them.

3- If your stack is disadvantaged too, you need to know and adjust for Game Critical Intersects. These are hands that can actually be calculated using a combination of your hole card strength, pot size, MZone and opponent profiling. This can give you a very strong backbone in your decision making in certain stages of the tournament. Once the GCI concept is completely understood, you will rarely have to ask anyone else if you made the right move or not.

Marty Smith has a free tournament video strategy series

where he explains how the GCI decision-making module can help your online tournament game. In that series he also shows how using a poker calculator can consistently help your bankroll and get you more in the money finishes.

Blackjack Bots: Blackjack Cheating Made Easy

The Automatic Revolution

It seems that nowadays, if you’ve got the cash (or the programming skills), you can automate almost any part of your life. Your coffee machine can make your cup of joe, automatically, at 6 AM every morning. The lights in your house will switch on to the sound of two claps. Spell Check makes sure your writing is flawless. The age of automation has shoved manual labour into the back seat, enabling those who are so inclined to live lives totally free of mundane and repetitive tasks. Why do something yourself, when a computer can do it for you?

If a task is structured simply enough—that is to say, if it is governed by a set of rules, and free of variation—it can be automated. Apply this to many of the most popular casino card games. Their structures surely fit the automation-friendly criteria, and this is especially so the case of blackjack. Sure, there are some variables involved in the game that aren’t static. For the most part though, a blackjack player can maximize his expectation by following a simple set of instructions.

All of us on this site know, or at least have heard of, basic strategy. Play by the rules, and you can minimize the house edge almost to the point of profitability. Basic strategy is, put bluntly, a set of rules.

“Hey, a set of rules!” you say.

Yes, a set of rules. Have you been following me so far? If so, I’m pretty sure I know what you’re thinking now: “Why not program a software application that plays perfect basic strategy, and use it for blackjack cheating?”

Good idea. So good, in fact, that there already many blackjack ‘bots’ available that do exactly that. It’s never been easier to become a blackjack cheat—all you need is some software.

The Art of the Bot

A good blackjack bot works just like the brain of a good blackjack player. It takes a player’s cards as input, plugs the cards into the basic strategy matrix, and decides how to play them most profitably. A good blackjack bot will know exactly when to hit, when to split, and when to double. A good blackjack bot will make decisions completely free of error. Theoretically, if you find a good blackjack bot, you can simply turn it on and go to bed—it will make money for you while you sleep.

A good blackjack bot will take each online casino’s game structure into account. You can input the number of decks used, the dealer’s hit/stand parameters, and your bet amounts. The bot will then adjust its basic strategy to maximize profit given the type of game you’re playing. Basically put, the best blackjack bots available will play absolutely perfect blackjack. Running one is an exercise in finely-tuned blackjack cheating.

These bots exist, and they work. That guy you know down the street who makes $30 an hour playing cards online—yeah, he probably runs a bot. After all, if it can be automated, why not? Lots of players have figured it out already—being a blackjack cheat is easy with the help of a bot.

Can a Bot Beat the House?

No. A bot will not give you an edge over the house. Playing perfect basic strategy will reduce the house edge to about 0.5%, meaning, in the long run, you’ll still be gambling at a disadvantage. All things considered, this is a pretty good result. Certainly, it’s better than most human players can manage. You see, the problem with us humans is that we’re never consistently rational. We all get tired and make mistakes. We all have one too many drinks every now and then, and make some hazy decisions. We all get stressed out over bad beats, and try to chase our losses. Because of our human qualities, we give up a whole bunch of our edge to the house.

The great thing about blackjack bots is that they’re everything us humans are not—they are totally rational, all the time. They don’t drink wine on Saturday nights. They don’t get stressed out. They just make perfect decisions, repeatedly and endlessly. They turn blackjack cheating into a finely-tuned system.

“Okay, but still… The bot will lose to the house over time… So, what’s the point?” you ask.

Good question. Let’s investigate.

Bonus Hunting

Playing blackjack in a live casino environment has its advantages. It gives skilled players the opportunity to count cards, for instance. This in itself can give a player an edge over the house. However as we all know, playing online is much different from playing live. Blackjack cheating is somewhat limited online. Card counting software does exist, but mostly, it sucks. There is no reliable way to get an edge on an online casino simply by playing the game.

There is, however, a way to profit from online blackjack cheating. Indeed, it involves playing with a blackjack bot.

“But you said blackjack bots will still leave the house with a 0.05% edge! What are you going on about,” you say.

Here’s where it gets interesting. A 0.05% edge is tiny. If there was a way for you to get, oh, let’s say, some free money from a casino just for playing cards, you’d easily be able to make up for the negative expectation.

“Pfffh… What kind of casino is going to give a card player free money?” you ask.

The answer: almost every single one. Pretty much every casino online offers first-time players first deposit bonuses. Most will match your deposit 1-for-1; this means that for every dollar you deposit, the casino will award you a dollar in bonus cash, just for signing up and playing.

“Why on earth would they do that? That makes no sense!” you say.

Think about this for a second—casinos expect you to lose. They know that, for example, they have a 0.05% edge against even the best online blackjack player out there. They believe that they’ll always win in the long run, and usually, they’re right. After all, online blackjack players are human—they never play a perfect game! Using this line of thinking, online casinos have an incentive to give out bonuses. Bonuses are added value to the player, and in the eyes of the casinos, the player never wins. Bonus money is money that the player will never see. Why not hand it out?

Here’s where your edge comes in. Using a blackjack cheating program like a bot (a good one that plays perfect strategy) can easily make you a profit, when deposit bonuses are accounted for. Again, a 0.05% edge is very small—you’ll lose about $0.05 for every dollar wagered playing without a bonus to clear. However, when the bonus you’re offered matches your deposit dollar for dollar, your expectation soars. You can expect to win a hefty sum of cash, simply by letting a bot play perfect strategy for you.

Good Bot vs. Bad Bot

The edge that you can potentially gain by hunting bonuses does have a negative side. While if you use a good blackjack bot you’ll surely profit from bonus hunting, using a bad ’scam’ bot can be disastrous for your bankroll. Blackjack cheating has its dark side—some blackjack bots are designed to cheat you from your money!

“A scam bot? Why would anyone make one of those?” you ask.

Well, it’s easiest to understand when you keep this in mind: blackjack, and casino gaming in general, is an industry. Everyone and their mothers are trying to get you to sign up for a casino account, and you can bet they all have an incentive to do so. Gambling affiliates are a main source of clients for casinos and poker rooms. An affiliate’s job is to get players to casinos, and to have sign them up to gamble. In exchange for sending traffic to casinos, affiliates get a cut of their referred players’ profit (rake or losses).

Affiliates come in all shapes and forms—some operate strategy sites complemented by banner ads. Some operate bonus sites that link to their affiliate accounts. Some shamelessly send you spam email, 24 hours a day, 365 days a week. You can be sure that there is an army of affiliates out there in cyberspace creatively thinking of ways to refer you, the blackjack player, to an online casino, in exchange for a cut from the casino’s profits.

In context of blackjack bots, it seems that there might be an incentive for affiliates to develop bots with hopes of referring players to their casinos of choice. It happens all the time. The general pattern is as follows: the affiliate pays a third-rate programmer to develop a shoddily planned bot, and makes sure the bot only works with casino sites they promote. This forces the player to download casino programs through the affiliate’s link, and in turn, guarantees the affiliate will get a cut of the player’s generated profit for the casino site.

The point here is that in the case of affiliate bots, quality strategy comes secondary, while profit for the affiliate comes first. Scam bots don’t play proper blackjack at all—often, they won’t even be able to adjust to different game structures. Profitable blackjack cheating using a bad bot is impossible.

Furthermore, think about it in these terms: an affiliate’s goal is to make as much money off of his players as possible. What better way to do so than to program a blackjack bot that plays crappy blackjack? These bots are a scam and a half, and they’re all over the internet. In your search for a method of blackjack cheating that works, you could end up getting taken for a ride.

How To Identify a Scam Bot

It’s relatively easy to identify scam bots. Often, they’re offered for download on an affiliate site. If you notice text on a page, beside a download for a blackjack bot, beckoning you to “click here now for best blackjack bonus!” or to “sign up now to get casino money!” you should probably run away, and fast. Clearly, these sites are all about getting you to sign up, and lose your cash. Can you really trust a bot from a site like that?

Another key indicator of a scam bot is one advertised as a free download. Don’t get me wrong—there are some free bots out there that are safe to use. However most of them are simply scams aimed at parting you from your money. Think about it—why would anyone offer you free software out of the blue? Either they are extremely generous, or they have ulterior motives… Affiliates pay to have these bots developed, and they clearly expect to make their money back through their casino commissions. They’re banking on their players to lose, and they’re pretty much ensuring the outcome by developing blackjack bots that don’t really work.

Affiliates have no incentive to help you with your blackjack cheating. Make sure you keep an eye out for bad bots when you’re searching for effective blackjack cheats.

Automate—But carefully!

To summarize, it’s entirely possible to craft a blackjack bot that plays perfect cards. There are even a few of them already developed. However, these bots will not give you a natural edge over the house—they’ll simply minimize your losses, leaving the house with a 0.05% edge, which is as minimal as it gets. Blackjack cheating is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but it can make you steady money over time.

You can definitely use these bots to turn a huge profit, by combining their perfect play with your own bonus hunting strategy. Most online casinos will match your initial deposit bonus at a ratio of 1:1 or greater, which gives you an opportunity to make lots of cash. Online blackjack cheating is profitable because of these bonuses, not because of some ‘magic bullet’ program that rakes in the dough.

Although these bots are indeed possible to make, there are lots of them floating around that simply don’t work. In fact, a few of them are designed to make you lose faster than you normally would—they increase the house’s edge. Following the guidelines above, you should be able to identify and avoid these scam bots with relative ease.

Special Gift Ideas

As a student I’m always pretty confused about what to get friends or loved ones as gifts, and not having a heavy wallet has often led to some pretty terrible gift buying experiences.

Basically, there are two ways in which a gift giving can go wrong; either you can give a gift that does not go down too well, or you can be given a gift that is not to your personal taste. Either of these situations is very awkward and makes for an uncomfortable experience where there should be joy and appreciation. Whether you give a howler of a present, or receive one, the most important thing when opening a present is that you should always look pleased upon opening!

The fundamental rule that applies to any gift-giving situation is that, no matter how hideous you consider a gift to be, never let on that you don’t like it. Keep this in mind at all times – especially when there is a crowd of people watching. Instead smile graciously and thank the giver courteously, finding something nice to say about the gift to show your appreciation for their thought. No matter how bad the present is, remember it was given with love and that you ought to return this sentiment with an appropriate ‘thank you’. However, don’t overdo it as this is always a sure-fire way of communicating your distaste.

In situations like these thank you notes are often overlooked as a way of conveying a subtle message to the giver after the occasion. Finding a good point to talk about in a note of thanks will once again demonstrate that you appreciate their effort. For example, if you receive an ornament that’s not to your taste, choose to talk about the colours used on the item and find a way to relate this to your surroundings at home: ‘while the colours of the flowers in the ornamental basket are suited to the kitchen, we do not have the shelf space in this room at the moment’.

Small indications that the gift is not going to be pride of place when they next visit, but that you do like the present are not considered as rude as never having the present on show and saying nothing of it. Giving an indication of where the present may end up – ‘we’ve decided it matches the decor in the spare room perfectly however and it brightens up the space’ – is a way of saying what you mean without offending and still acknowledging the fact you have received a gift of love.

If you are concerned your note will not be well received, consider sending it with a bouquet of thank you flowers to show your appreciation. Sites such as ASDA Flowers have beautiful flowers at reasonable prices so you can get the message across without any offence.

If you realise you have made a mistake with a gift – perhaps the recipient is not as good at poker faces as you or you have duplicated another present – simply apologise and explain why you made your choice. Offer the receipt to the recipient or offer to take it back yourself. If you are humble and offer to exchange the gift for another (here you can ask if there’s another gift they might prefer) you should be forgiven. Of course, the best way to ensure that the gift is well received is to get something YOU KNOW they will like in the first place.

Tilt, What is It?

To be honest, tilt happens to everyone in poker and there is no way around it. In poker, it’s safe to say that tilt is one of the most feared words – and concepts, in fact. What is tilt caused by? Understand, there is no one cause: It’s as different as there are different players. It is continuously being unlucky when your opponents hit their miracle two and three-outers on the river; for some, it’s a bad run of cards. Or, it’s an extended period of time playing poorly.

Once most players do finally go on tilt, the fact remains that all bets are off and their games suffer, no matter the cause. In the wrong situations or at the wrong times, they end up playing the wrong cards and losing a lot of chips. Some players find themselves belly-up to the table, caught in a vortex, a whirlpool that just keeps sucking them down. It’s a vicious cycle, when Lady Luck deserts you, and it feeds on itself and the player. It erodes their confidence along with their bankrolls!

It’s one thing to know what causes tilt, but what tilt is is the bigger question.I think it is the fear of being hunted. We are not being chased after by animals, but instead we’re being hunted down by other players, who are looking to gun us down with another bad beat.

Your whole chemistry changes when you’re overwhelmed by that primal emotion. It kicks you into a different mindset, changing your whole game. You have to be able to separate yourself from that emotion, that’s the key to maintaining the frame of mind to avoid going on tilt. Control is the key, corralling your primal instinct, reigning it in so that you can continue to ride it out — Lady Luck, that is. Be intelligent! Be in the game. Forget the shot-term results at the poker table, the short sprints of luck and you’ll play smart in the long-rung and you’ll come up a winner.

You must train yourself to believe, at least over a short period of time, that both winning and losing at the poker table have the same meaning in order to achieve this. Because the point of the game is to always win, this may seem counter intuitive at first. Losing is a part of the game, and you have to accept the fact that you can’t win every hand.

How you approach a coin flip situation should be looked at. You don’t want to risk losing what you’ve already won (and possibly more) so you’re going to be more hesitant if you’re winning at the time you’re faced with a coin flip. On the other hand, you’re probably going to be more willing to take the risk and go for the coin flip if you’re presented with the same situation when you’re losing, because you want to win your money back. Because in either situation you’re more worried about the short-term outcome, rather than about playing solid poker over the long term, which is what being a winning player is really all about. I think both cases are detrimental to your game, either way.

You have to focus; focus simply on the game. Forget about winning or losing. When you focus on the game, you never have to worry about going on tilt as you’ve surrendered yourself to the one true goal: playing good poker. At the end of the day, all that matters is playing well. Let the cards fall as they may since as poker players, we can do nothing more than to play our best game. Your long-term results, no matter what kind of variance you face over the short term, will take a turn for the better when you adopt this attitude.

Thank you and I wish you good luck at the tables.

Bluffing to Beat The Odds When Playing Poke

The only way to bluff well is to understand the art of bluffing. Let a professional Texas Holdem poker player help you create a strategy that will help win more pots, whether playing in a local land based casino or one of the best online casinos.

A bluff, by definition, is a bet or raise player A makes when their cards have no chance of winning. This can be a valuable weapon when used properly. Players see more bluffing in no limit poker games and tournaments. Soft bluffing can work better than an outright bluff. The danger comes when an opponent starts tracking your habits.

The showmanship in televised Poker Tournaments, movies, and Vegas television shows has lead to misconceptions about the frequency of bluffing in Texas Hold’em Poker and other Poker Games. New poker players may have the wrong impression and focus on the wrong elements of the game.

A bluff, by definition, is a bet or raise player A makes when their cards have no chance of winning. This can be a valuable weapon when used properly. Gambling is not a science.

The last card is the ace of spades…. I have a flush ace high….nobody can beat me….. I go all in…..The other person calls and the same card that gave me an ace high flush gave him a full house. This is not considered a bluff. Both players held a strong hand. Both were positive they held the winning hand.

Limits When Bluffing

Players see more bluffing in no limit poker games and tournaments. This is because players are playing both their opponents and their stack size. Bluffing is dangerous in Texas Hold’em poker where players usually show down the best hand. Bluffs work best when you are heads up against your opponent.

New players should avoid bluffing in low limit games. There are trends in poker. Amateurs tend to stay if they catch part of the flop, even a low pair. When the stakes are a little higher, bluffing works as long as the pot is small. Another good place to bluff is in short handed games.

There are some times when a bluff can put the player in a positive position. It is possible to steal the blinds with a bluff after everyone else has folded. This can work, as long as a pattern does not emerge. A clever player will notice if you raise every time you are on the button.

This technique may also backfire when playing with an opponent who will defend their blinds at all cost.

Soft Bluff

Soft bluffing can work better than an outright bluff. In the above example, the players may have bluffed and raised early in the game, hoping for the ace. The hands are good. There is hope. It all rides on one or two cards. In the above hand, both players hoped the other would fold.

The danger comes when an opponent starts tracking your habits. They may learn how to tell when you hold a good hand, and fold early. They may learn how to identify your bluff, and call it.

Basic Bluffing Strategy

The Rule is, “If you get caught – you are bluffing too much. If you are never caught – you do not bluff enough.” This is a basic rule of thumb, but the true secret is to ‘keep them guessing.’ If you are terrible at bluffing, pretend to bluff when you know you hold the winning hand. Don’t bluff when you hold a bad hand. More important, make sure that you bluff when it is ‘smart.’ This reveals a level of skill that will keep most opponents guessing, and may cause them to pause before going all in and forcing you to fold.

Skill

Bluffing starts long before it is time to bluff. A good bluff starts before the hand is delt. A good bluff is played every hand, no matter how good, or bad, the cards are. You can learn how to play poker but you will not win consistently until you learn how to bluff.

What Can be a Good Bankroll to Start With if You Want to Begin Playing Seriously?

What can be a good bankroll to start with if you want to begin playing seriously?
If you have the ability to manage your bankroll, you minimize your risk of going broke.

If we want to find out ‘What can be a good bankroll to start with if you want to begin playing seriously’, this is too difficult, because There are so many variables, such as players’ style of play(Las Vegas games tend to be tighter than Los Angeles games), the game of choice, where they play, the limit they feel comfortable playing, and the reason for playing the game, etc. Think carefully about these, you may come up with some possible right figure to begin playing seriously. You must first be aware of the type of player you are. If you are a tight, solid player, then you will probably not need as much money as a player who is involved in a lot of pots. Determining the size of your bankroll is the type of game you are playing. If you enjoy playing Stud, Triple Draw or Badugi, you will need more money than if you were playing Draw Poker. Some games have more betting rounds than others, so if you are going to play in the games with more betting rounds, then you should need a little more money than somebody playing a game of the same limit with less betting rounds.

No Limit Holdem is another game where you should have a lot more money. In a $100 restricted buy-in game, the blinds are $2-3. The 300x the big bet formula doesn’t apply here at all. Anybody who has played No Limit Holdem knows that $900 would be way too small of a bankroll to ride out the swings of the game.

Swings like that can beat a person down if they don’t have enough money to be able to handle it. No Limit Holdem is probably the game where the swings will be the highest. I can handle the swings because I have enough money in my bankroll that I can lose for days on end and still have enough to get back into the game and not play with scared money. Scared money means you don’t play your game properly because you are afraid that if you lose, you will lose your bankroll, and be out of action — or even completely without money.

You must also decide what limit you feel comfortable playing. The basic guideline stated that in a $1-2 limit game, you should have $600. So in a $10-20 limit game, you should have $6000. It seems simple enough, but it isn’t. In a smaller limit game, you will most likely be facing more opponents when you see a flop. Even if you only play premium hands, your swings will be relatively larger because you will win less hands overall (due to having more opponents) but the pots you win will be bigger. Generally speaking, your swings will be higher (relative to your bankroll) in smaller limit games. Therefore, you should start with a little more than the guideline.

One of the most important things to consider when determining your bankroll is the reason you play poker. If you have a regular job or another source of income, then the above guidelines should suit you just fine. If you plan on playing poker as your sole source of income, then things get much more complicated. A professional poker players needs are different than a recreational players (or even a semi-professional). A pro player lives off his bankroll. His bankroll is essentially his net worth.

While playing poker, you are bound to have fluctuations. When you are independently wealthy, the fluctuations only matter to themselves. If poker is your only source of income and you have fluctuations, you have to remove your monthly house payment from your bankroll when it comes due. Instead of earning your bankroll, you deplete it. The bankroll you had, you no longer have, and this occurred for reasons having basically nothing to do with poker, so it important to start with a lot more than the standard 300x.

The professional poker player should also consider that he should be making some money with his bankroll in other places besides the poker table. A bankroll should not just be in a drawer in your bedroom. If a player plays $30-60 regularly, they should have approximately $20,000. If a player has a $20,000 bankroll, the whole wad does not go on the table every time they sit down. A player should take some of the money (in this case perhaps $5000) to the casino and the rest should be in the bank, the stock market or any other place where it can make a profit. The reserve should be “working” for the player while the player is working at the poker table.

How to Manage your Poker bankroll
All good players use their won money at the poker table as operating funds for a further poker play. They try not to invest it in anything else as they know that their life in poker is in their bankroll. Having won a sum of money at a certain limit, it is best to put it in your pocket or to move forward with them to higher limits.

It is also important to set a maximum amount for yourself that you may lose without being uncomfortable about it. Anyway, there are swings in poker, so it’s better to be ready to suffer expected losses, than unexpected ones. According to statistics, if you want to feel comfortable playing limit poker, you should have a bankroll around 300 times the big bet.
From the other side, it is much enjoyable to build up a large bankroll from a small investment.
The following can be some useful tips to manage your bankroll:
Avoid playing with scared money. Do not choose limits where you have to risk too much going broke.
Even if you are losing but playing well, don’t be too fast to leave the game. It can turn to be favourable for you.

Vice-versa, there is no sense to stay in a bad game even if you are winning. You should leave it and find a better one.
If you are about to go on tilt, it’s best to stop where you are. Never let yourself go on tilt.
If you are suffering huge losses at a certain limit, perhaps, you have stepped up too early. Return to lower limits to the moment when you feel strong enough to move up.
It is very useful to have a notebook where you mark all your winnings, losses, played hours and the games you play in.

If you want to win, feel youself like a winner- confident, concentrated and emotionally calm. Don’t play if you are troubled with other issues than poker.

What Is An Online Casino?

Asking what an online casino is probably sounds a little funny considering the answer is right in the question. It’s simply a casino style world that can be played for real money online. Since most people have been to a land based version in the real world at least once, all the same games are available to play that you would see there.

Whether you like slot machines, let it ride, blackjack, craps, and all the other games, they are all at your disposal in an online casino. The only difference is that you aren’t sitting next to other people and if you don’t want to hear all the ringing in your ears a casino has to offer, you can just turn off the speakers.

Then of course, the financial benefits don’t match land based areas at all. Online casinos make so much money every year they can offer huge jackpots where it only takes a dime or quarter wager to win. If you were to go to your one locally, it might cost $1 or more. That can be enough to excite anyone into taking a stab at playing online.

Also, while we are talking about money, wouldn’t it be nice to play for the amount you want to instead of the minimums that a land based casino considers mandatory? Especially games like three-card poker that can run you $30 for a full minimum wager if you stay in, and instead play were $6-$15 at an online casino. Not only is it a big difference, it can make it enjoyable for those that are just wanting to have fun.

Because if you’re not having fun, what’s the point, right? You can find online casinos that offer bonuses matching up to 100% and maximum amounts of $100 just for joining. Then there are others that offer a free hour of play and you keep all the winnings. They are great ways to get involved, especially when free money is involved.

At the same time it gives you the chance to learn games that maybe you were afraid to play in a land based casino. Things like craps that are so fast paced, it’s hard to keep up with everything. Playing in an online casino means you decide the speed of the game and if you need help, you read over the information that pertains to the game.

Wouldn’t you like to do all this whenever you wanted, without having to get ready and then drive to the location? Just think of the gas most of you will save by not driving. Your home can be as warm as you want it, completely smoke free if you so choose it to be, with the television on and your feet propped up. Who doesn’t want to be comfortable while playing?

Add all this up with a simple download of the software, or catching web based or live action and you can play any online casino of your choice. They are a lot of fun with many more benefits then what we’ve discussed here, but by now you get the idea. For the experience alone, and where the futures heading in the industry its enough to start playing.

We understand it’s a lot to take in all at once and this article probably isn’t the first one you have read. With that being said, it’s important for you to decide on which type of online casino is right for you. Then of course, which company is going to give you the most for your money and the best experience for you to refer it on to others.

Whatever you decide, online casinos are for your enjoyment and learning while having fun is even that much better. So sign up and play a little, you never know maybe beginner’s luck will set in on the first day. Better yet, it can be used to practice for the land based casinos if you like those better. Either way they’re here to stay, so you might as well jump on the bandwagon.

The Rtg Online Casino Platform

Typically, when a person is taking a look at the history and reputations of online casinos, they right away are able to place casinos into the trustworthy and untrustworthy categories, but we might forgive a person if they are not able to do this with the Real Time Gaming casino. This is because of the fact that RTG was a terrible casino when it opened up and through incompetence and a lack of understanding ended up marring their name. They have recently really gotten it together however and in spite of their previous reputation, they have a lot going for them at the present moment in time.

Games

The gaming selection that you will find at the Real Time Gaming Online Casino is some of the best gaming selection that is available out there. What makes it good on a totally basic basis is the fact that choice is available in abundance. For people that are regular casino goers and just want the basics, there are a number of slot machines and video poker machines to choose from. Fans of table games will also have blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat and other similar games to choose from too. However, even for people that enjoy the more exotic casino games, there is a lot of choice available. Specifically, taking a look at games like Casino War, Let It Ride, Sic Bo, Keno and a number of others shows the sheer amount of choice and selection that is available at Real Time Gaming.

Speed

One of the reasons that people calling themselves action junkies would love the online casino way of playing in general is that it is a lot faster than the alternatives. It is a lot faster in the sense that you are going to be able to do more over the same amount of time, ergo the element of faster speed that many people associate with online casinos. Just as you can play more hands of poker online, you can play more blackjack hands online as well. Sometimes, this will even resolve itself into up to ten hands a minute and that is something that is extremely quick!

Leverage

An interesting thing about action junkies is the fact that they tend to get used to increasing levels of action very quickly and then tend to go around looking for more. Well, if this sounds like you, then the one thing that you can have fun with is the fact that RTG software allows you to leverage your gaming experience by creating multiple tables and playing them all at once. This means that you can play Blackjack, Baccarat, Sic Bo and others all at the same time from the same piece of software and when you combine that with the increased level of play inherent to online casinos, you already have a situation that most action junkies would absolutely adore.

Online Casino Games For Mac Users

A while back some online casino owners decided to develop their own gaming software that would allow Mac users to play games at their online casinos. Since then online casino games for Macs have taken off in a big way. There are now quite a lot of online casino games for Mac users.but of course not quite as many as you’ll find for PCs. These games are available in two versions “downloadable” and “no download required”.

The downloadable version is quite similar to those games that you would download for your PC, you have to download the gaming software onto your hard-drive and then it has to be installed onto your computer. After installation is complete you will have to create an account with the online casino before you can start playing. If you choose this route don’t forget to use your antivirus to do a scan of the program before you install it to make sure you haven’t made a mistake and chosen an amoral casino which includes harmful spyware or viruses in its installation.

The “no download required” version is simply what the name implies, you do not have to download and install any gaming software on your computer, you simply sign up for an account and start play immediately from your browser. These types of game use “flash technology” and are quite simple to use. All you have to do is log onto the online casino website of your choice click on the play button (you can either play for free or for real money depending on the casino you select) sign up for an account and you are all set to go.

There are so many online casino games for Mac users to choose from. Here is just an example of what you can expect when looking for online casino Mac games.

Table Games: There are quite a number of games to choose from in this category:
Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjacks, Craps Let It Ride, and various types of Poker games.

Video Poker Games include games such as: Jacks or Better: 3 hands, 10 hands and 52 hands, Deuces Wild, Double Jackpot, Joker Poker; 3 hands, 10 hands and 52 hands.

Slot Machine Games; Here you have two choices you can either play the regular three line slots machines or you can opt for the more modern five line Video Slots Machines. With Video Slots Machines you have a wider variety of games to choose from.

Deciding which of these games to play, especially if you’re a novice gambler can be a bit daunting. Never fear though, that’s why there are online casinos where you can play for free! You can figure out which game suits you and build up your skills without spending a dime at these casinos and then when you’re more confident you can move on to winning real cash!

Finally there is one other important thing worth mentioning, depending on which browser you are using, whether it is Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari; keep in mind that not all online casino Mac games will work on all of these browsers, so be sure and read the requirements before choosing which online casino games you want to play on your Mac today.
